Rich Fruit Cake:
A traditional lovely moist fruit cake. The fruit is soaked in Courvoisier Brandy overnight. Once baked it is left to mature. It is then covered in pure marzipan and sugarpaste prior to being decorated.
Vanilla Madeira Cake:
A rich firm textured traditional Madeira which can be filled with either buttercream and jam or a lovely lemon buttercream.
Carrot Cake:
A moist carrot cake which is filled with a lovely cream cheese buttercream. A lovely alternative and simply delicious. However please note that this cake keeps fresh for only 2-3 days (assuming there is any left, of course!).
Chocolate Cake:
A lovely light textured traditional Chocolate Madeira cake which can be filled with a choice of fillings:
- Chocolate fudge
- Fresh Cream and Black Cherry Conserve
- Bavarian Cream which can be laced with Cointreau
- Chocolate Buttercream
- Ganache
(please note if choosing Ganache it is necessary to place a thin layer of marzipan under the Ganache).
Individual Cakes:
Made either in Rich Fruit Cake or Madeira Vanilla or Chocolate Sponge.
Coverings:
White or Coloured Sugarpaste or Chocolate Couverture (similar to Sugarpaste but tastes of real chocolate!!!!)
